As we work on syllabi and first week content for our Spring courses, instructors are aware that we have helpful resources available for Moodle support. However, our students may not be aware of all the support available, especially if they are new students. Consider drawing your students' attention to
- 24/7 Technical Support from Learning House
- A searchable repository of student help articles
- Open access to the CU Online Orientation (linked from the Moodle Home page)
There are several helpful articles for students in the Knowlegebase. While many students are tech-savvy, it would be a mistake to assume that all students can easily navigate an LMS. Drawing your students' attention to articles such as How to View Grades in Moodle or How to Submit an Assignment may give your students, especially new CU students, added confidence as they begin your course. Take a look at the articles in the Moodle (Student) section and consider linking the ones you consider most important to your course page or mentioning them in class.
