The mission of Black Faculty & Staff Council is to champion student success and cultivate community amongst faculty and staff
at CU. In addition, the Black Faculty & Staff Council exists to enhance advocacy,
communication, collaborative efforts, and leadership opportunities to promote growth
and development within the university.
The council aims to create an environment where everyone can thrive, feel supported,
and engage in meaningful dialogue through community-building events, mentorship, and
experiential learning to support student success and retention of historically resilient
students. The council is open to all faculty and staff at CU!
Black Faculty & Staff Mentor Directory
Community Connection [CC] events aim to create a space for exposing students to various
customs, experiences, and perspectives across the Campbellsville University campus.
Students enrolled in OR-100 courses attend two (2) events and/or activities as a requirement
of the course.
Experiential learning assignments will provide students with opportunities to celebrate
and explore various arts and humanities and build community. Events and activities
that are eligible for Community Connection attendance will be listed on the CC Calendar
of Events.
