Tom Bell, Ph.D., MBA, M.Div., M.A.
Dr. Tom Bell has been a Christian educator at Campbellsville University since 2011
and at the university level since 2004. Prior to this he was a missionary in South
Korea for 3-years. Encouraging and empowering individuals to become the best which
God has prepared them to be is Dr. Bell’s overall goal for students. He has taught
most of the classes in the Sport Management program, but he specializes in the areas
of Sport Law, Sport Psychology, Stress Management, Introduction to Sport Management,
Sport Facilities, and Sport Governance. Among Dr. Bell’s accomplishments while at
CU has been the co-founding of the Master’s in Sport Management (MASM) program as
well as revamping the undergraduate sport management curricula to reflect COSMA’s
stated accreditation standards. He presents at professional conferences when available.
His research interests include leadership, motivation, the law, and consumer behavior.
Dr. Bell received tenure at CU in 2019, has five college degrees, and has been happily
married to Kay Bell since 1999.
