Starr Garrett

Starr Garrett is the Director of Campbellsville University’s Department of Theatre and Dance. She has been recognized numerous times by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for her direction and design work. Currently, she is serving Region IV of KCACTF as regional Co-Vice Chair and as Respondent Coordinator for Kentucky and Tennessee. Previously she has served on leadership with the Southeastern Theatre Conference. With CU since 2005, she has designed curriculum, developed partnerships with other campus and community programs, and worked with a wonderful team to bring stories to life in the Russ Mobley Theater. She is passionate about advocating for theatre in towns large and small.
