He has been married to Elizabeth since 1986 and they are the proud parents of Auburn,
Hope, and Caleb. He enjoys preaching and leading leadership retreats and marriage
and family enrichment conferences with his lovely wife.
Leading students on international mission trips and study abroad experiences has been
a great delight. Dr. Wigginton has enjoyed a lifetime of experiencing and teaching
about God through travel adventures which include bicycling across America from coast
to coast and throughout Western Europe, climbing Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens,
playing basketball with Athletes in Action in South America, hiking across the Grand
Canyon, and lots of international travel on six continents including his favorite,
Australia. His greatest adventure, however, is teaching and mentoring students and
experiencing God’s working in everyday lives, marriages, and families.
