Dr. Robin Magruder
Dr. Robin Magruder joined the CU faculty in fall 2013. Prior to this, she was a middle school math teacher for 12 years. In 2017, she was appointed the undergraduate chair for the school of education. In January 2024, she was appointed as dean of the school of education.
Dr. Magruder serves at the CAEP chair for the SOE and enjoys all leadership and research opportunities. She enjoys taking SOE students, faculty, and community members on global experiences. Recent experiences include Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom, Greece, and Spain. 
 
Dr. Magruder earned a Doctorate of Education (Instruction and Administration) from the University of Kentucky in 2012. She earned a Master's of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2004, and a Bachelor of Science in Middle School Education from the University of Louisville in 1994.
