Rita Reynolds

Mrs. Reynolds is a resident of Taylor County. She received her ADN and BSN from Campbellsville University and then completed her MSN in nursing education from Chamberlain University in 2021. She spent 12 years at Taylor Regional Hospital. While working at Taylor Regional Hospital, she worked on the Medical-Surgical and Labor and Delivery unit. Her passion in nursing has always been for Maternal and Pediatric care and Women’s Health and this is where the majority of her career has been focused. She received the Nursing Excellence Award Kentucky Hospital Association 2013, Nursing Clinical Ladder Program at Taylor Regional Hospital 2018-2020, and Hero Award nominee Taylor Regional Hospital 2019. She became a full-time faculty member of Campbellsville University in 2020. She teaches in both the PN and ADN/AAS programs at Campbellsville University. She has enjoyed making an impact on nursing education and teaching the new generation of nurses. She is a member of the National League of Nursing, Kentucky League of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
