Mike O’Neal, Dr.
Associate Professor of Theology, Old Testament and Hebrew
(Ph.D., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; M.Div., Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; B.A., University of Kentucky) Mike comes to CU after serving in the pastorate for close to 30 years and teaching as an adjunct faculty member. He’s a native of Louisville, Kentucky and has pastored in Texas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. His published works include Interpreting Habakkuk as Scripture (Peter Lang, 2007). His wife Sarah is a public school special education teacher and they have three grown children. In his spare time, Mike enjoys physical fitness, reading current events and fiction, and listening to and playing jazz (upright bass). His office is Druien Hall 121.
