Mark H. Blakeman has dedicated over 13 years to Campbellsville University, where he currently serves as the Director of Campus Safety & Security. In this role, Blakeman oversees the daily operations of campus safety and security across multiple campuses in Kentucky, California, and Canada. Additionally, he is an active member of the Federal Relations Committee for NACCOP, serves on the University Presidents Staff Council, and holds positions as Assistant Director of Clery Compliance, Title IX Investigator and Title IX Advisor at the university.
Before his tenure at Campbellsville University, Blakeman gained extensive experience in management roles with organizations such as Amazon, Tractor Supply Company, Swans Frozen Food Corporation, Blakeman Auto Parts/Greensburg BP and Blakeman Oil Co.
Blakeman is the son of Marlene D. Blakeman and the late Charles H. Blakeman. He is married to Suzanne M. Blakeman, a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, where they met and married in 2002. Together, they share a passion for working in Christian higher education, traveling the world, and spending quality time with family and friends.
A 1993 graduate of Green County High School, Blakeman earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication and Social Science, with a minor in Journalism, from Lindsey Wilson College in 2010. He is currently preparing to pursue his Master of Business Administration at Campbellsville University. Both Mark and Suzanne attend Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Russell Springs, Kentucky.
