Jacquelyn E. Young
Dr. Young is a 2008 ADN graduate of Campbellsville University, 2010 BSN graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, 2012 MSN in Nursing Education graduate from Walden University, and 2018 Post Master Certificate- Family Nurse Practitioner graduate from Maryville University. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Walden University in 2016. Her nursing career started in the Medical/Surgical unit then transitioned into the Surgical Department as a circulating nurse at Taylor Regional Hospital. She left TRH to join CU as a clinical instructor which evolved into a full-time faculty position in 2012. She has worked in the ADN and RN-BSN program in various capacities and is currently an Assistant Professor in Nursing in the MSN program. She also practices as an FNP at Fast Pace Health in Campbellsville. Dr. Young is involved in professional organizations such as Kentucky League for Nursing (KLN) and the Kentucky Coalition of Nursing Practitioner & Nurse Midwives (KCNPNM). She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Nurses Credential Center (ANCC).
