After earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Roberts Wesleyan College, in Rochester, New York, Dr. Callahan knew she wanted to understand more about the intricate design and inner workings of the human body, especially in relation to natural health care. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (DC) and Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition (MSACN) degree from New York Chiropractic College. She joined Campbellsville University in September 2021 as the Professor of Clinical Nutrition and Biochemistry. Dr. Callahan's passion is to teach students and patients how to fully understand the biochemical and physiological basis of cellular and organ system interactions - both in health and disease - and show how lifestyle choices can promote optimal health.
