Deborah Holt came to Campbellsville in the spring of 2018, after the completion of her Master’s Degree program at Campbellsville University. She has been in education for over 40 years with experience in preschool, middle school math, and automotive maintenance for the U.S. Army.
Before completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, she spent 15 years teaching maintenance on various military vehicles including the MI Abrams and the M60 Patton tanks, recovery vehicles, personnel carriers, 2-1/2-ton trucks, and the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee) at Fort Knox, KY.
Deborah’s research area is disability, with special emphasis on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and Alcohol Related Neurodevelopment Disorder. This is the topic of her dissertation as she pursues her doctoral degree.

Deborah resides in Louisville with her husband. They are active in their local church and enjoy travel when time permits. She has three grown daughters and four grandchildren.
