Dale Bertram, Dr.

PhD in Family Therapy-Nova Southeastern University (1995); MEd in General Counseling-The College of Idaho (1991); M.A. in Religion-Eastern New Mexico University (1983); B.A. in Religion and Speech Communication-Eastern New Mexico University (1981). Dale E. Bertram is a Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy. He came to Campbellsville University in January 2019. Before arriving at Campbellsville University, Bertram served as the Chair of the Department of Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University. Earlier in his career, he was the Dean of the School of Human Services and the Director of the PhD Program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Amridge University. Bertram is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor, and is also a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS), American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), and the Society of Clinical and Experiential Hypnosis (SCEH). Bertram’s research interests include the rhetorical aspects of family therapy dialogue, the integration of faith and learning, professional ethics, and technology assisted mental health services.
