Steps to Transfer:
Admission Requirements:
To be considered for admission to Campbellsville University as a transfer student, you must meet the following requirements:
- Completed Application
Submit an application for admission. - Official Transcripts
Provide official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. These must include a complete record of all courses attempted and grades received. - High School Transcript (if applicable)
If you have earned fewer than 24 credit hours, you must also submit an official and final high school transcript with your graduation date and degree conferred. - Good Standing with Previous Institution
Transfer students must be in good academic standing and eligible to return to their previous institution. - GPA Requirements
Transfer applicants must meet Campbellsville’s minimum GPA requirement. Applicants with a GPA below 2.0 will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for a decision. - Additional Requirements for International Students
International students must submit foreign academic credentials for evaluation by a N.A.C.E.S. certified evaluation provider, including English translations of course descriptions.

Transfer Credit Policy, Evaluation, & Pathways:

Send official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities to the Office of Admissions.

If transferring less than 24 credit hours, also provide an official high school transcript.
Transfer students must be in good standing with their previous institution. If transferring fewer than 24 credit hours, an official high school transcript is required.
Transfer credit evaluation is conducted by the Registrar, who determines how credits from regionally accredited institutions apply to your degree. Credits from non-regionally accredited institutions are considered individually and must be approved by the relevant academic departments.
International students must submit foreign academic credentials for evaluation by a N.A.C.E.S. certified provider.
Credits with a “D” grade will transfer, but English composition, developmental studies, and major-related courses with a “D” grade must be repeated. Transfer students must complete at least 25% of their coursework at Campbellsville, with the final 30 credit hours completed in residence.
Students with an associate degree may transfer up to 73 credit hours, with an additional 3 credits approved in advance by the Registrar.
Note: Applicants with a GPA of 1.99 or below will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for acceptance.
