Program Mission: Louisville/Online
The mission of the Campbellsville University Marriage and Family Therapy Program at
the Louisville and Online campuses is to equip diverse and compassionate clinicians
through a Christ-centered framework that integrates academic excellence, ethical practice,
and systemic theory. Accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), the program prepares students to become competent marriage and family therapists
who are committed to serving individuals, couples, and families across varied cultural
and community contexts with professionalism and integrity.
Program Mission: Los Angeles Education Center (LAEC)
The Phillips Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Campbellsville University’s Los
Angeles Education Center is dedicated to cultivating culturally responsive and spiritually
grounded clinicians who are prepared to serve the diverse needs of California communities.
Accredited by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary
Education (BPPE), the program fosters critical thinking, ethical practice, and inclusive therapeutic
skills, empowering students to pursue licensure and impactful careers as marriage
and family therapists in a multicultural society.

Two Programs, Two Accreditation Paths
