Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
General
Why should I consider a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic?
People across all age groups are increasingly more interested in integrative and less-invasive health care as a way of improving overall well-being and performance, as well as treating acute and chronic pain conditions.
Becoming a DC is incredibly satisfying work with a distinctive purpose of helping people recover from injury, reduce their pain, and live healthier lives. Chiropractors report a high level of patient satisfaction, an incredibly attractive work life and lifestyle balance, and a high level of job satisfaction, due in large part to the joy of knowing you are helping others get well naturally. Many chiropractors work in solo or small group practices, own their own clinic, or partner in a larger facility. Although salary averages range across the country, in part due to business ownership, top earners enjoy a six-figure income and a low stress, autonomous environment.
Why should I choose Campbellsville University?

- Cutting-edge technology in a new, dedicated educational facility; and
- Core values that foster health and well-being from a distinctly Christian perspective.
Can I have a full-time job while or do night classes while attending Chiropractic school?
Professional school is generally more time consuming as compared to undergraduate programs. There are no night classes available and little flexibility in your class schedule. Most semesters have anywhere between 25-30 hours per week of class time. The amount of time, as well as the intensity of study, would make it difficult to have a traditional full-time job.
