Program Overview:

Campbellsville University's Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for a rewarding career where they can play a key role in managing the efficient filling of prescriptions. Pharmacy Technicians (PTs) are responsible for not only distributing medication, but also measuring, mixing, counting, and labeling accurate dosages. With new drugs entering the market regularly, PTs must stay updated on cutting-edge medications.

In addition to technical skills, PTs must also demonstrate patience and empathy, as many patients visiting pharmacies are not feeling their best. In as little as six months, our comprehensive program provides the critical skills needed to start a successful career as a Pharmacy Technician, with opportunities for full-time employment at local pharmacies and healthcare settings.
