CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Dr. Scott Wigginton, professor of pastoral ministries and counseling at Campbellsville University and part-time minister of counseling at Campbellsville Baptist Church, will be giving a message on “Divorce Proofing Your Marriage Before it Starts” at Campbellsville University's chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8 in Ransdell Chapel at 401 Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
Wigginton is a licensed marriage and family therapist and served for 12 years as executive director of Life Care Counseling center and counseling minister at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.
He received his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology and Doctorate of Philosophy from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a fellow with American Association of Pastoral Counselors.
Wigginton has had the opportunity to speak and preach in conferences in churches, universities, schools and business settings across the United States.
“Marriage and family” has become Wigginton's passion in ministry.
He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children: Auburn, Hope and Caleb. Caleb is
a senior at Campbellsville University and is majoring in pastoral ministries.
Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through
a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
