CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - An elementary class from Washington County came to Clay Hill Memorial Forest on April 21 as a field trip in honor of earth week.
“We came to Clay Hill for the sight impaired exhibit,” said Sherri Boblitt, the teacher who organized the field trip.
Clay Hill now has a sight impaired exhibit that can be accessed by anyone who walks the Little Angel Trail. The class from Washington County didn't have any students with visual impairments but said that it was still very useful for the children with disabilities.
“Earth Day is a recognition of God's creation and man's responsibility to creation. In Genesis chapter one, God says and it was good, then turns it over to man to care for. We are called to take care of this creation he has given us,” George Howell, the principal donor of Clay Hill Memorial Forest, said.
