CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - “There's something for everyone!” said Kylee Miller, director of student activities and intramural sports, about Campbellsville University's Homecoming Party on the Patio, festival and parade.
This year's theme, “Together Again,” emphasizes the importance of connecting with each other on campus.
“Homecoming gives all of us the opportunity to reconnect,” said Miller.
As a new addition to the festivities, CU student activities is hosting a Homecoming edition of the popular Party on the Patio events. This will take place behind the Student Activity Center (SAC) on Friday, Oct.8 at 9p.m.for everyone to enjoy a night of games, music, snacks and giveaways!
Offering crafts, face painting, caricature portraits, ax throwing, inflatables and food trucks, the annual festival will take place on Stapp Lawn from 11 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9. Everyone is invited to attend.
The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Main Street in Campbellsville and take its usual route ending in front of the university's president's house. Find a good spot and join the celebration by watching the floats, Tiger Marching Band, car cruise and more as they stroll on.
This year's parade grand marshal is Jane Wheatley, a member of the Campbellsville University Board of Trustees and chief executive officer of Taylor Regional Hospital. Wheatley is also a 1995 graduate of Campbellsville University.
