CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Sunday, Sept. 15, the West Louisville Boys and Girls Choirs will perform at Campbellsville University. The concert will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Gheens Recital Hall, located inside of Gosser Fine Arts Center which is located at 210 University Drive, Campbellsville.
The choirs will perform the following songs: William Dawson will sing “Ain't A That Good News,” Johann Pachelbel will sing “Canon of Praise,” West Louisville Boys Choir will sing “Bayente Mandela,” Arr. By John Werth will sing “This Little Light of Mine,”
Beatrice and Max Krone will sing “Ride the Chariot,” George Weiss and Bob Thiele will sing “What A Wonderful World,” the West Louisville Boys Choir and West Louisville Girls Choir will sing “America” and the concert will end with the West Louisville Boys Choir and West Louisville Girls Choir singing “Amazing Grace.”
“Under the auspices of the West Louisville Performing Arts Academy and directed by McDaniel Bluitt, the choirs will be presenting their fall concert repertoire,” said Dr. John Chowning, executive assistant to the president of Campbellsville University for government, community and constituent relations.
Dr. Tony Cunha, dean of the CU School of Music, invites churches and the general public to attend free of charge.
