CU Tigers honored by Senator McConnell for playing in the NAIA World Series
United States Senator Mitch McConnell honored the Campbellsville University baseball players by placing their names and accomplishment in the Congressional Record on June 11, 2009 for having qualified for the first time in university history to play in the NAIA World Series. LeAnn Crosby, field representative for the senator, brought the official copies of the record to the coach this week. Crosby said that the Senator's hope is that the team gives him reason to be back again next year for the same purpose. (CU photo by Linda Waggener)
