Ron Rafferty to speak at Campbellsville University Heritage Day Chapel Service on April 6

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. - Ron Rafferty, Campbellsville University Board of Trustee member and adjunct instructor and alumnus, will speak at chapel on Heritage Day, April 6 at 10 a.m. in the Ransdell Chapel, located at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

Heritage Day is a time to reflect and recognize the achievements, traditions, beliefs and history of the university.
Born in 1946, Rafferty was raised in Taylor County. He graduated from Taylor County High School in 1965 and from Campbellsville College in 1969.

After college he taught at Taylor County High School for 27 years. He is currently teaching as an adjunct faculty at Campbellsville University and has been for the past 20 years. He has served as a trustee since 1999.

Rafferty is the voice of the Sunday Morning program on WCKQ 104.1 and has over 1,900 live radio segments.

He has been married to Mary Lou Wise for 50 years. They have a pet Yorkie named Sophie.
