CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - “With Homecoming being virtual this year, the Office of University Communications decided to do something we do best — photography!” Joan C. McKinney, director of university communications, said.
As part of the 2020 Homecoming celebration, a virtual Trivia Game of various wonders all throughout the Campbellsville University campus will be on Saturday, Oct. 24 from noon until 2 p.m. on the CU Facebook and Instagram pages.
Everyone is invited to participate by identifying 12 photos of buildings, places and hidden gems that have contributed to countless memories made over the years by students and visitors alike.
Three photos will be posted on Campbellsville University's Face-book and Instagram pages every half hour from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 24. Participants have until 2 p.m. to submit their answers by sending a message on the platform corresponding to the photos.
“Some will be easy and some hard, but hopefully you will remember some from your time at CU,” McKinney said. “We hope you play along because the prizes are big!”
Players will be entered for a chance to win a $250 Amazon gift card on the Facebook page or a basket of Campbellsville University merchandise from the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore on the Instagram page.
The individual to submit answers first will be the winner. There will be a tiebreaker if two players get all 12 photographs correct. Winners will be announced on Sunday, Oct. 25.
“We hope you can join the fun,” McKinney said, “as we work to make CU's first Virtual Homecoming a success.”
