CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dennis Paiva, formerly of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has been named Campbellsville University's admissions counselor for out of state and international students.
He previously worked as an international coordinator and assistant admissions counselor for the admissions office of Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio, and has served as a Microsoft Office professor at Northwest State Community College in Archbold, Ohio.
Paiva is fluent in English, Portuguese and has communication and reading skills in Spanish.
Paiva received both his bachelor's degree in information technology in 2004 and master's degree in business/organizational leadership in 2006 from Defiance College. He also received his associate's degree in computer programming in 2002 from Northwest State Community College.
He is a 1999 graduate of Colegio Batista Brasileiro in Sao Paulo and is the son of Maria Alice and Jose Carlos Maia Paiva of Sao Paulo.
