CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University has hired Angela Morris, previously of Schaumburg, Ill., as an assistant professor of criminal justice. She will begin teaching classes in August.
She has been an educator at Moat Community College, the Coleman Centre, Crown Hills Half-Way Home and English Martyrs College, all in Leicester, England, and at the Royal National Institute for the Blind in Coventry, England.
Morris is certified in classroom behavior management and speed reading.
She has been a member of the Criminal Justice Association and is currently a member of the Model United Nations at Governors State University in University Park, Ill. and a member of Police Futurist International.
Morris has served as a volunteer at the House of Glass in Carbondale, Ill. and as a research assistant to a criminal psychologist in Carbondale.
She received both her bachelor of liberal arts in psychology and a bachelor of liberal arts in English from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and her master of arts degree in political and justice studies from Governors State University. She is currently working on a doctorate degree in political science and criminal justice from the University of Leicester in England.
Morris resides on Spurlington Road in Campbellsville.
