CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Lauren Goodin of Columbia, Ky., has been employed as an admissions counselor in the Office of Admissions at Campbellsville University, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University.
She will serve the south central Kentucky area including Adair, Barren, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Hart, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Wayne counties.
Goodin is a 2009 graduate of Adair County High School, and plans to graduate from Campbellsville University in December 2012 with a degree in health and physical education.
Goodin served as an admissions intern at Campbellsville University from August 2010 to July 2012.
Her professional memberships include Kentucky Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD) and the Kentucky Education Association Student Program (KEA-SP).
Goodin received honors including Mid-South Conference All-Tournament Team in 2010-2011 in golf. She was awarded the Champion of Character in 2011. She was also named to Campbellsville University's President's List from 2009 to 2012.
She is the daughter of Jamie Powell of Columbia, Ky.
