CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dr. Douglas O'Neill, First Prize Winner of the 1999 Dublin International Organ Competition, will perform at Campbellsville University in the Noon Organ Recital Series on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 12:20 p.m. in the Ransdell Chapel, 301 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
O'Neill is an active performer on organ, piano, and harpsichord, as well as a church musician and choral conductor.
O'Neill holds degrees from the University of Evansville, the University of Iowa, and the University of Kansas, where he completed the Doctor of Musical Arts in Church Music.
He has served as assistant university organist at the University of the South, on the faculty at the University of Evansville, as associate organist and director of the organ academy at Saint Cecilia Cathedral, and as organist and assistant director of music at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
O'Neill will perform works by J.S. Bach, Norman Cocker and César Franck.
