CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. — Dr. Albert Reyes, president and Chief executive Officer of Buckner International, will be giving a message on “Missions Week” at Campbellsville University at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 20 in Ransdell Chapel at 401 Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
Dr. Albert Reyes is the sixth president of Buckner International, “a Christ-centered organization that delivers redemptive ministry to the most vulnerable from the beginning to the ending of life.”
Missons Week will be Sept. 18-21 at Campbellsville University.
Monday, Sept. 18 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a Refugee Simulation in the Students Lounge in the Student Commons.
Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 6:00 p.m. Reyes will speak on “Missions Trends in the 21st Century” in the Banquet Hall.
Wednesday, Sept. 20 after Reyes speaks at Chapel at 10:00 am, the prayer tent kickoff will take place on Stapp Lawn, with a missions fair on the library sidewalk from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. At midnight there will be a prayer meeting for nations in the Prayer Tent on Stapp Lawn.
To end Missions Week on Thursday, Sept. 20 Reyes will speak to Hispanic pastors at the Louisville Education Center.
Reyes has received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University, Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Doctorate of Philosophy from Andrews University, and participated in executive education at Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University.
He is a member of the board of trustees of the Joint Council for International Children's Services, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, and the T.B. Mason Institute. He has also held adjunct faculty positions at many different universities and seminaries.
He and his wife, Belinda, have three children. They are all active members of Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
