CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University will host a “Transformational Church Summit - A Conference for Pastors and Church Leaders” Thursday and Friday, Sept. 27-28.
John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president, said the two-day, 24-hour conference event will “challenge and equip you with tools to bring about transformation in your church.”
He said the featured speakers include: Dr. Thom Rainer, Dr. Dan Garland, the Rev. Charles Grant, Dr. Shane Garrison, Dr. John Mark Toby and Dr. Rusty Ellison.
Breakout sessions include: Transformational Church for Predominately African-American
Churches, Culture Eats Strategies: Incremental Change in a Local Church; Transformational
Church for Sunday School, Transformational Church 101 and How to Use the TCAT (Transformational
Church Assessment Tool).
Chowning said, “We need transformational. We need renewal. We need a fresh movement
for the Spirit in our congregations and amidst our people and we believe this conference
can help.”
Registration is $40.
Campbellsville University, the Kentucky Baptist Convention and LifeWay and partnering to sponsor the conference.
