CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Campbellsville University Piano Ensemble will be giving its spring concert on Thursday, April 5, at 8 p.m. in The Gheens Recital Hall of the Gosser Fine Arts Center at 210 University Drive, Campbellsville.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The ensemble consists of nine students representing six countries.
Ensemble members are: Hsin-I Guo of Taiwan; Ayaka Ogawara of Japan; Samson Tarpeh of Liberia; Yukina Tatebayashi of Japan; Ziqi Zhou of China; Ziyu Zhou of China; Milagros Boso Galli of Argentina; Wei-Sian Chen of Taiwan and Laura Payne of Fordsville, Ky.
The ensemble will be performing works for one piano, four and six hands, and two pianos, four hands, by Bizet, Osieck, Shostakovich, Rahbee, Pärt, Respighi, Brahms and W.F.E. Bach.
The ensemble will also give a performance of music for multiple pianists at one piano on the Concert Series at the Loretto Motherhouse in Nerinx, Ky., on Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
