CU Life Teams lead youth revival at Southside Christian Church in Harrodsburg

HARRODSBURG, Ky. - One of Campbellsville University's Life Teams led a youth revival for 130 youth at Southside Christian Church in Harrodsburg Nov. 16.

The team, according to Wes Carter, assistant director of church outreach, included eight people, including five CU students, two CU alumni and one incoming CU freshman in January.

Carter delivered the message and invitation on unity.

The sponsoring churches were Southside Christian Church, Harrodsburg Baptist Church and Bruners Chapel Baptist Church, with other area youth group members involved all across Boyle and Mercer counties.

“Our CU life team did the entire service and hung around afterward for ice cream with everyone,” Carter said.The theme of the night was unity among all area churches in Jesus Christ.

The CU Praise Team performed three songs, including the invitation, and CU student Martin Combs performed two songs.

Campbellsville University servant leaders are ready to assistant churches in ministry with weekend ministry teams, Disciple Now teams, student and/or faculty speakers, student testimonies, sports ministry, music and faculty-led training events.
