CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Campbellsville University's Chorale, under the new direction of Dr. Alcingstone Cunha, assistant professor of music, will be leaving for fall tour Sunday, Oct. 18-21.

“The Chorale has been working very vigorously to master the music we will be presenting on tour,” said Cunha. “I can't wait to see the end results of their hard work and dedication.”

In addition, Cunha said there are many new faces included in this year's ensemble. He said he is excited to see what type of performance this group is capable of producing.

The Chorale will be featured throughout several churches and high schools in Kentucky and Ohio. The ensemble will be performing numerous pieces of sacred music by several leading composers including: Handel, Mark Hayes and Ralph Manuel.

The Chorale is an auditioned ensemble that rehearses three times a week in the fall and spring semesters.

Joining the Chorale will be the University Handbell Choir under the direction of Rebecca Logan, an adjunct faculty member from Shepherdsville, Ky. Logan said the Handbell choir is facing a brand new year, with a new director and with many new members. She said the fall tour will be a great opportunity to tie each new aspect of the Handbell choir together.
