CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University's eighth
annual Noon Organ Recital Series is set to get underway on Sept. 15.
Zachary Klobnak, college organist at Centre College and
director of music at the Presbyterian Church in Danville, will kick off the
Noon Organ Recital Series with the first performance of the 2015-16 academic
year on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 12:20 p.m. in the Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins
Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
Klobnak is a native of Iowa and earned his undergraduate
degree in music from Luther College and his master's from the University of
Florida. He is a doctoral candidate in organ performance and literature at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Klobnak is a member of the American Guild of Organists and
the Presbyterian Association of Musicians and has held church music positions
in Illinois, Florida and Iowa.
Klobnak will perform musical selections including the
Processional by William Mathias, Sanctuary by Gwenyth Walker and Variations on ‘Ah,
vous dirais-je, Maman! By Johann Christian Heinrich Rinck.
