Campbellsville University’s Steel Band to perform fall concert Nov. 1

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University's Steel Band will present its fall concert on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. in The Gheens Recital Hall, located at the Gosser Fine Arts Center at 210 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

The event is free and open to the public. Chapel credit is available.

“The stage will be filled with instruments from Trinidad and Tobaggo as the group will perform music from around the world and in several different styles including soca, calypso and reggae,” Dr. Chad Floyd, assistant professor of music and director of the band, said.

Members of the Steel Band include Adam Hooper of Monticello, Ky.; Alex Bradley of Hardyville, Ky.; Byeonggwan Kim of Ulsan, South Korea; Caylyn Morris of Springfield, Ky.; Chris Parker of Elizabethtown, Ky.;

Corey Melton of Scottsville, Ky.; Garrett Baker of Bowling Green, Ky.; Jericho McCoy of Campbellsville, Ky.; Jordan Hines of Hartford, Ky.; Jordan Stickell of Elizabethtown, Ky.; Josh McCoin of Frankfort, Ky.; Mary Williams of Campbellsville, Ky.; Mason Bertram of Campbellsville, Ky.; Michael Mather of Elizabethtown, Ky.; Penny Duke of Cecilia, Ky.; and Ryan Tade of Campbellsville, Ky.
