This year Campbellsville University will have her Homecoming Parade Saturday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. The parade is later this year due to the late start of the football game at 7:01 p.m.
The parade will begin in front of Jackson Towers and progress through Main Street before taking a right on 3183, continuing until the intersection of University Drive where they will take a left and a right on North Hoskins, before ending in front of the university's president's house.
The 2018 Homecoming theme is “Stars and Stripes,” which will be reflected in the parade and floats. Each year the parade host various floats, the Homecoming candidates, the Tiger Marching Band, cars from the car cruise, President Michael V. and Mrs. Carter, the grand marshal and more. Included this year will be a Veterans float, a ceremonial United States flag that is 20 feet x 30 feet, and the Grand Marshal will be veterans from the Armed Forces.
