CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University will once again kick off the Homecoming weekend with its annual Homecoming parade on Saturday, Oct. 11, starting at 11 a.m. Those participating in the parade are asked to be at Jackson Towers at 1 Clem Haskins Blvd. at 10 a.m.

The parade will begin at Jackson Towers and will end at CU's campus. This year's parade theme is “Let the good times ROAR.”

This year, a special float with military veterans will also be in the parade along with various other groups affiliated with CU. “The parade is a great way to interact with the community and get excited about homecoming,” Trent Creason, director of student activities, said.

The floats will represent clubs and organizations on campus, Homecoming candidates, CU Tiger Marching Band, cheerleaders and Dr. Michael V. Carter and his wife, Debbie.

“The parade is a wonderful opportunity for alumni and friends of the university to reconnect and fellowship. We hope all come out and see a variety of floats, which represent our different clubs on campus,” Paula Smith, director of alumni relations, said.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,500 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master's degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
