CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Rick Gage, evangelist and the founder of Go Tell Ministries, will be the guest speaker during chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. at Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
Gage is the founder of Go Tell ministries, a ministry dedicated to reaching as many people as they can about the kingdom of God. Gage has spoken in many schools and events, delivering a program that confronts young people's drugs and alcohol abuse.
He has also made appearances on multiple television and radio programs. He is the author of his own autobiography titled “More Than a Game and a Bible,” as well as the author of other writings.
Gage will be hosting a Go Tell crusade, beginning Sept. 9 through Sept. 12, at the Citizens Bank Field/Finley Stadium. These meetings will be every night at 6 o'clock. These crusades are a part of the Go Tell ministry; these events feature popular Christian artists, testimonies of hope and inspiration and a gospel message that is clear and engaging.
All students, faculty, staff and members of the community are welcomed to join each night as Gage leads.
Gage dedicated his life to full-time ministry in 1986, giving up his potential career as a football coach for Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education in 1981, and then a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 1998.
Gage launched Go Tell Ministries in 1990 and has led hundreds of crusades across the country, leading thousands of people to Christ. Go Tell Ministries hosts crusades across the country, they send mission teams into multiple parts of the world, and they host summer camps and student camps.
