CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dr. Mike O'Neal, senior pastor of Campbellsville Baptist Church,
will be speaking at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12 at chapel in Ransdell Chapel, 401
N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky., for the university's Holy Week Service.
The chapel service is open to the public and is sponsored by the Robertson Worship
Committee.
O'Neal began serving Campbellsville Baptist Church in August 2013. He's pastored
in Texas, Tennessee and most recently in Louisville, Ky. He's also been an adjunct
faculty member of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Boyce College and Campbellsville
University.
His vision for ministry is to glorify God by leading a local church to be healthy,
vibrant and growing, obeying the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in the power of
the Holy Spirit. O'Neal's ministry passions are preaching the Bible, sharing the
gospel and discipling believers.
O'Neal has been married to Sarah O'Neal since 1988, and they have three children.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, physical fitness, music
and reading.
He's a graduate of the University of Kentucky (BA 1987), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv 1990), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (PhD 1996).
O'Neal first book, “Interpreting Habakkuk as Scripture,” was published in 2007. He's also written for “Preaching” magazine.
Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 23.0) and are streamed live on the internet at wlcutv.com.
