CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The Campbellsville University School of Music and Band Department will be hosting the annual CU Honors Band on Feb. 25 and 26. There will be a concert on Feb. 26 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
This two-day event brings about 100 high school students from about 20 different schools from around the state to rehearse and perform under the guest clinician, Robert Bryant, the former Director of Bands at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School and the current Interim Director of bands at Vanderbilt University.
At the end of the two-day event the students will share what they have put together in conjunction with Bryant during a concert on Friday. The concert is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,500 students offering over 80 programs of study including 24 master's degrees, seven postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs.
