CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University will award 217 graduate and undergraduate degrees in two ceremonies in her December commencement on Friday, Dec. 14 in the Ransdell Chapel, located at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, at 2 p.m. and another one at 4 p.m.
Dr. Michael V. Carter, who is serving in his 14th year as president, and Dr. Frank Cheatham, who is senior vice president for academic affairs, will confer the degrees and present the students' names, respectively, at both ceremonies.
The 2 p.m. ceremony will feature students earning bachelor of science and the bachelor of science in business administration degrees. The second ceremony will be at 4 p.m. and will include students receiving the associate, bachelor of art, bachelor of music, bachelor of social work degrees and all master degrees.
The graduates receiving degrees are as follows: 28 associate degrees in nursing; three associate of science; six bachelor of arts; two bachelor of music; 65 bachelor of science; 17 bachelor of social work; 18 bachelor of science in business administration; six master of arts in organizational leadership; 30 master of arts in special education; 22 master of business administration; one master of music in music performance; 12 master of theology; and seven master of science in counseling.
Kwaku Osebreh, president of the CU Alumni Association, a 2006 graduate, will install
the alumni.
There will be a senior walk at 1:15 p.m. for the 2 p.m. ceremony, and 3:15 p.m. for
the 4 p.m. beginning in the Davenport Student Commons and moving to Ransdell Chapel.
Degrees are conferred upon completion of all requirements.
DVDs of the graduation ceremony will be sold. You can purchase the DVD by contacting Jeannie Clark, producer for broadcast/digital media. The DVDs will be sold for $25, and orders will be taken at the lobby in the chapel before the ceremonies.
