CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University's 88.7 WLCU-FM will broadcast its first ever live Lady Tiger volleyball game on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. EST. This will be the first volleyball game to be broadcast live by CU students from the Powell Athletic Center.
The students involved are sophomores Cortni Cruse and Rachel DeCoursey. Cruse, a mass communication major from Melber, Ky., will be doing the play-by-play. DeCoursey, a JV volleyball player from of Hopkinsville, Ky., is also majoring in mass communication. She will be doing the color commentary.
The game against Lindsey Wilson College will begin at 7 p.m. as well as the coverage for the game. Campbellsville has taken five of the last six matches with LWC. The Raiders are currently ranked 8th in the NAIA with an 18-0 record. The Lady Tigers are 13-2. The CU Pep Club, the Maroon Goons, have called for a “Black Out” and are encouraging students and fans to wear black to the game.
