CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The Campbellsville University Theater Department is partnering with Town Hall Productions and Don Franklin Campbellsville for five performances of the musical, “My Fair Lady.” These productions will be at the Russ Mobley Theater in the Alumni Building at 114 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.

The play is adapted from George Bernard Shaw's play and Gabriel Pascal's motion picture “Pygmalion” with Alan Jay Lerner's book and lyrics with music by Frederick Loewe.
A synopsis of the musical includes a pompous phonetics professor named Henry Higgins who is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to transform a Cockney working-class girl into someone who can pass for a cultured member of high society.
His subject turns out to be the lovely Eliza Doolittle, who agrees to speech lessons
to improve her job prospects. Higgins and Eliza clash, then form an unlikely bond
— a bond that is threatened by both inward and outward forces.
Kelli Stanfield plays Eliza, and Ray Hollenbach plays Higgins.
