CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University is deeply saddened at the news of the recent announcement of closure at St. Catharine College. St. Catharine College has affected positive life change into people's lives since 1931, with origins dating back to the 1820s. Campbellsville University stands prepared to assist the students of St. Catharine College.
“The experienced and professional staff at Campbellsville University will do our best to provide a seamless transition from St. Catharine College into Campbellsville University,” said Campbellsville University President Michael Carter. “Our main campus, located in Campbellsville, Ky., and our Harrodsburg Education Center stand ready to assist students, making their transition into Campbellsville University seamless and stress free”
The university has assisted students from other institutions of higher education which have fallen on difficult times in the past, such as Mid-Continent University.
“This is a stressful time for the St. Catharine students,” said Dr. Donna Hedgepath, vice president for academic affairs. “It is important that other universities reach out in a reassuring manner. That is our approach.”
Campbellsville University is prepared to assist St. Catharine students at its main campus and at its new center in Harrodsburg, working with St. Catharine College students to limit any loss of academic progress towards graduation.
