CAMPBELLSVILLE - Campbellsville University's Dr. John Burch, director of Montgomery Library, and Tim Hooper, university archivist, have worked together and authored a book that celebrates the institution's history.
Titled Campbellsville University Campus History Series, the recently published book by Arcadia Publishing, captures the essence of campus life throughout the years from its origins as the Russell Creek Academy 100 years ago to the university that it is today.
The new book features influential faculty, staff and students in pictures from over the years of early classes, sports teams and important institution events.
The 128-page softcover book sells for $19.99 and is available at bookstores, independent retailers and on-line retailers.
Hooper also serves as music librarian at Montgomery Library. He is the director of the Campbellsville University Men's Ensemble, CU Sound, and interim worship leader of Stithton Baptist Church in Radcliff, Ky.
Burch also serves as an assistant professor.
