CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Rev. James Washington, and his wife, Wanda, will speak at Campbellsville University chapel Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.
Washington is pastor of New Zion Baptist Church and Mrs. Washington is director of Greater Campbellsville United and is employed at Adanta as a licensed professional counselor associate and temporary certified alcohol and drug counselor.
The couple will include referencing to the late Dr. Martin Luther King as this is the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination.
Everyone is invited to attend the service.
The Washingtons are both committed to community services and participation in various organizations including the Campbellsville-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, Campbellsville-Taylor County Civic League and State Commission for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the Governor's Office of Minority Empowerment.
