CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University has employed Donna Fohl, of Elizabethtown, Ky., as an instructor in early childhood education, according to Dr. Michael V. Carter, president.
Fohl has served as the assessment director, GEAR UP director of program facilitation and an adjunct instructor in early childhood education for Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
She was the child development center coordinator in the American School of Kuwait in Kuwait City, Kuwait, and the child safety program coordinator for Army community service in Ft. Irwin, Calif. and Ft. McPherson, Ga.
Fohl is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and serves on the Hardin County Early Childhood Education Council.
She is a 1975 graduate of Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She she received her bachelor of science degree in home economics with an emphasis in early childhood education. She also received her master of education degree from Western Kentucky University in 2001.
Fohl is married to Larry J. Fohl and they have three sons, Tom, Steven and Michael. She is the daughter of Russell and Angie Brandenburg of Elizabethtown.
