CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Dr. Akira Miyawaki, a Japanese authority on forest ecology and conservation, was a guest speaker recently at Campbellsville University.
Dr. Miyawaki spoke in representation of Toyoda Gosei. He explained how everyone in this life needs to put in a little bit of effort to protect life since that is all we have; “Environment is my way to protect life, it's all about giving your children and grandchildren the opportunity to live.”
He raised awareness explaining that factories are a part of today's society, but nature is as well, so everyone needs to contribute a little bit in taking care of this world. He also believes that the youth must acquire knowledge about the environment so there can be a sustainable living environment and civilization for the future.
