CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University, Town Hall Productions and Community Trust Bank will present “A Christmas Carol… More or Less” at The Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, Dec. 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 7 p.m.
Written by Stefano LoVerso and Mary Irey, based on the novel by Charles Dickens, “A Christmas Carol… More or Less” is about Sarah and Charlie, a couple whose marriage is on the verge of collapse. They run a small theatre presenting “A Christmas Carol.” When the cast and crew are snowed out, the couple must pull off the show on their own. Charlie plays Scrooge while Sarah plays everyone else. As they are forced to work together, they will discover if they can save the show and their marriage.
Charlie is being played by Daniel Bannister, and Sarah is being played by Bannister's wife, Holly Bannister. Director of the production is Alia McClendon, community theater manager at Campbellsville University. Matt Nall, technical director at Campbellsville University, will be the tech director for the production.
McClendon said safety measures will be taken for the show by reducing room capacity to ensure space between attendee seating is six feet apart. Attendees will also be required to wear a mask.
General admission is $10. Admission cost for seniors 65 and up, children 12 and under and Campbellsville University students and employees is $7.
