CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - “Alumnifire is a closed loop networking environment similar to LinkedIn but it is for CU faculty, staff, coaches and students only,” Darryl Peavler, director of athletic alumni at Campbellsville University, said.
“Through Alumnifire, you will be able to network with experts in other fields, job search, connect and get updates about the university. You can sign up with LinkedIn, Facebook or with an email address.
“It's a networking hub that connects you to people from all over the world,” Peavler said.
Visit campbellsville.alumnifire.com to sign up and get connected with fellow Campbellsville University alumni.
The Alumnifire website states, “Alumnifire for CU is a grassroots networking community launched by CU community members in February of 2019.
“Alumnifire takes existing job tools to the next level. Beyond job postings, Alumnifire automatically surfaces available jobs at employers where alumni work.”
Alumnifire is useful for current students and recent grads as well as alumni who have been removed from the CU scene for many years. Not only can you search for jobs that fellow Alumnifire Tigers are posting, you can help recruit people from your alma mater to work where you are working now.
“From recruiting entry-level graduates to finding your next CEO, Alumnifire makes it easy to connect talented members of your network with real-world opportunities,” alumnifire.com says.
“Search for and post events, announcements, discussions, and more. Alumnifire's community tools make it easy to find out what's happening or get the word out.”
There are 84 Tigers on Alumnifire for CU. Inviting others to join can help make the community more vibrant and valuable for everyone, Peavler said.
75 Tigers offer general career advice, 33 offer informational interviews, 31 offer resume reviews and feedback, 27 offer introductions and networking and 14 offer job shadowing.
